I've decided it's about time I share a few of my secret finds with y'all. We all know about the deal sites like Groupon and Living Social but I have found a few others that I am LOVING!

A friend introduced me to Very Jane and Groop Dealz and I have to admit I am completely slightly obsessed. These sites are a little different because they don't have deals for activities and meals but have discounts on items. Both sites invite small boutiques to showcase an item they carry for a reduced price. They have everything from those popular chunky necklaces, to women's, children's and baby's clothing to home organization and décor.

Here are a few things I've gotten and am loving so far.

I snagged 4 of these pashmina scarfs right before Christmas for only $5 EACH!  And look at all of the different colors they come in!  I got yellow, mint, gray and purple.  I love how easy it is to dress up a plain shirt by just throwing a scarf on!



These just showed up in my mailbox and I am in LOVE.  I've only worn them once but am already getting compliments on them!


These go FAST!  Last time they were on Very Jane they were completely sold out by lunch time.  You have to JUMP on these babies.  I ordered these tunic hoodies in 3 different colors and just can't get enough!  They are so cute and comfy to lounge in with a pair of leggings.

For all of you mommies out there, check out these adorable superhero belts for your little men.


And look at these cute and handy crayon holders.  Plus there are 15 different prints to choose from!

Of course everyone knows about Zulily which is cute but I think is best for mamas.  If you are looking for some great deals on clothes, shoes and accessories check out Haute Look and Rue La La.

One Year

Wow.  I am behind on this thing!  I have about 5 posts started but just haven't gotten around to posting them.  I promise I will try to be better.  I know all TWO of my followers are on the edge of their seats wondering what I have been up to.  Ha!

 

Well, almost five months ago the boy and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary.  Our actual anniversary was on a Sunday but we decided to celebrate the day before.  I have to admit something.  I like to sleep.  On weekends Hep gets up and is productive while I snooze away.  (I LOVE it!)  This day was no different.  When I finally did get up Hep told me that we were going to a wine tasting at a near by winery.  I was so excited!  I love wine but have never been to a formal tasting. 

 

We went to Two Rivers Winery and it was AWESOME!  We sampled about 8 different wines and ended up taking 6 bottles home with us to stock our little wine fridge.

After we left the winery we headed home to get ready for dinner.  (I thought I would be cute and wear the same dress I had on when we first met.)  Hep had planned dinner but wouldn't tell me where we were going.  We ended up at a really nice wine bar called 626 On Rood.  We had more wine, a cheese plate, lobster and steak.  Everything was delicious! 

 

 

 

 

It was a great way to celebrate our first year together.  Here is to another 75 years!
